MOSCOW, September 21. / TASS /. Physicist Rashid Syunyaev and chemist Georgy Shulpin became the first Russian scientists in the history of predictions of potential Nobel Prize laureates, which since 2002 has been prepared by Clarivate Analytics.

This year’s list includes scientists from Denmark, Germany, Greece, India, Japan, the Netherlands, Russia, South Korea, Taiwan, Britain and the USA.
Rashid Syunyaev – chief research officer of the Institute of Space Research of the Russian Academy of Sciences, director of the Institute of Astrophysics of the Society. Max Planck (Germany), visiting professor at the Institute of Higher Studies in Princeton (USA). According to analysts, he can receive a prize “for the fundamental contribution to our understanding of the universe, including its origin, processes of galaxy formation, disk accretion into black holes and many other cosmological phenomena.” In 2017, Syunyaev received a state award in the field of science and technology.
Georgy Shulpin – Senior Researcher of the Kh. N. N. Semenov of the Russian Academy of Sciences. He can receive the award “for a critical contribution to the CH functionalization reaction.”
Forecast Clarivate Analytics are made by quoting the work of scientists in physics, physiology and medicine, chemistry and economics. As noted in the company, for 15 years, 43 “laureate on quoting” received the Nobel Prize.
