The Spanish company obtains the certification that supposes an accolade that guarantees the security of its offers in cloud environments.

The Spanish company Gigas has announced that it has obtained PCI DSS Level 1 certification, which is a guarantee of confidence for companies that deal with sensitive information when managing card payments.

” We are obliged to offer maximum security to companies that host their data and applications with us , especially in the case of sensitive information such as credit cards and payment data,” said Diego Cabezudo, CEO of Gigas.

The executive has said that the company is working “conscientiously” to create completely safe environments that meet all required legal requirements.

Gigas has obtained the certificate following an audit led by the cybersecurity consultancy S21sec and after exceeding the requirements of the Council of Credit Security Industry Standards (PCI SSC). Companies such as American Express, Visa, Master Card, Discover Financial Services and JCB International are the members of this board.

Gigas, Spanish company of Cloud Computing closed the first fiscal semester with a gross income of 3,36 million euros, which was a growth of 23.8% over the same period of a year before.
